The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) has revamped its Ambassador programme to ensure it has a prominent and respected voice on key strategic industry issues in the UK and around the world.
CIOB Ambassadors are representative members who participate in strategically important forums and contribute to CIOB policy development. Fiona Davies CIOB policy & ambassador development manager said, “The changes will result in a more influential and international Ambassador programme. There are now three Ambassador classes, dependent upon experience. These are Representative Ambassadors, Public Affairs Ambassadors and Ambassador Spokespersons. “We have taken forward the 2006 pilot scheme by defining priority issues for the programme to focus on, as well as creating a mechanism that connects all Ambassadors with Institute policy development. The CIOB is actively encouraging members that want to influence decision makers and make a real difference in the construction industry to apply for an Ambassador role.” Further information can be found at www.ciob.org.uk/ambassador |
