Plans to transform Carlisle Airport into a passenger and freight hub are in doubt after the developer said he would withdraw the proposal. Despite acquiring planning consent for the £30m development Stobart Air has been irritated by a lengthy list of conditions and restrictions put forward by the city council. Talks between the two sides are likely to resume. |
