Carillion has won Best Supplier award for its Manchester Metrolink Track Renewals project for clients Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE). The Metrolink team was awarded the accolade at the Tramways & Urban Transit Magazine awards ceremony held in Docklands, London. Carillion Rail was awarded the £20m contract in October last year, the project involved replacing approximately 20 miles of track on the Bury and Altrincham lines during 2007. |
