Friday, 25 May 2007

Tender prices across Liverpool are set to rise faster than previously expected as a result of a number of multi million pound projects starting in and around the city in the near future.

EC Harris predicted building tender prices to rise by 4.4% this year with a further 4.9% increase expected in 2008.

Scott Motley, Partner at EC Harris said: “The construction industry has bounced back from the relative slowdown in 2005 and we have seen good levels of output over the last 12 months. With construction workload rising faster than previously anticipated, building tender prices are also set to follow.”
