Birmingham City Council has chosen the Catalyst Education consortium to partner it on the city's £2.4bn Building Schools for the Future contract.
The group, led by Catalyst Lend Lease and Bovis Lend Lease, will rebuild or refurbish all 89 of the city's secondary schools by 2024. It is the biggest school transformation programme in the country. The work will be carried out in six phases with the first £152.4m phase due to start this April with completion by 2011. |
