Balfour Beatty, one of 112 building firms named by the Office of Fair Trading in its investigation into tender rigging said this morning that it is confident that all of its subsidiaries are now fully compliant with the Competition Act. Balfour Beatty's company statement follows the results of an extensive Office of Fair Trading investigation into tender activities across the construction sector. Balfour Beatty announced in June 2007 that it had undertaken a full review of the group's compliance with the Competition Act, the results of which it has made available to the OFT. |
