Babcock International has paid £65m in cash to Weir Group for Weir Strachan & Henshaw, an engineering design and project management business for the defence and nuclear industries. WS&H, whose expertise in the nuclear sector includes fuel handling, decommissioning and waste handling services, generated gross revenues of £51.8m in 2007. |
