Allied Developments has applied for permission to build a 37-storey block of student flats next to Manchester's Oxford Road railway station.
The application is the first sign that the city's notorious oversupply and student and private apartments may be easing. The £25m tower will have 33 storeys of student accommodation topped by a penthouse apartment. It will be the second tallest residential building in the city after the Beetham Tower. The building has been designed by local architects Hodder and Partners. |
