| Aberdeen awards £110m schools contract |

Aberdeen City Council has announced that a £110m contract has now been agreed with NYOP Education (Aberdeen) for the design, construction, financing and operation of the ten schools and other facilities comprising the 3Rs Schools Project. The NYOP consortium is made up of Nysir, an Icelandic property company; Operon, a UK facilities management company; and Pihl & Son, one of the largest contractors in Denmark.
Stewart Milne Construction, with the support of other local contractors and sub-contractors, will carry out much of the construction work. |
