| £500m hospital planned at Wynyard Park |

Plans to build a £500m hospital at the Wynyard Park site in the Tees Valley have been submitted.
The 700-acre site has been selected by North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital will serve patients in Hartlepool, Easington, Sedgefield, Billingham and Stockton areas. A decision on the scheme is expected in the autumn. |
