Friday, 04 April 2008

The Government has today confirmed a £40m PFI credit boost for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service to build four new fire stations.

The new stations will improve incident response times in the community, help reduce accidents, injuries and deaths in Gloucestershire and provide a focal point for safety messages and information within the community, as well as state of the art working facilities for fire fighters.

A major part of the new development will be a new Community Life Skills Centre.
