The national sustainability conference named 'Sustainable Stars' is looking for Pennine Lancashire's new builds, renovations and heritage conversions with green credentials.

Elevate, the event organisers, are searching for the very best the region has to offer with regards to sustainability within the built environment.

Applications are sought from planners, architects and building professionals from both the private and public sector, and can include collaborations of several agencies for one specific build.

The winners will be announced this autumn at the Constructing the Future conference, in Burnley on October 30th.

Winners will be included in the Sustainable Stars exhibition and book (Autumn 2008). The 2008 competition will culminate with an awards ceremony at Constructing the Future.
