British Energy said it expects to reopen its Hartlepool and Heysham nuclear power stations before the end of the year.
The two power stations have been out of action since October of last year after routine boiler inspection identified potential problems with corroded wires. The cost of fixing the reactor problems, for which regulatory approval was needed, will be over £100m. |
