Spanish company SAICA has submitted plans for one of Europe's largest paper recycling plants. The application to Trafford MBC seeks consent for a £250m scheme at Partington Wharfside in Carrington. The facility could create 200 jobs at the plant and have the capacity to recycle 400,000 tonnes of paper each year. The council will make a decision on the mill in September. |
