Vinci Construction has won a £25m deal with Liverpool City Council to create a new learning and community facility for the Jewish community.

The design-and-build contract, which starts on site in the next couple of weeks, is part of the Building Schools, Skills, Success scheme (BSSS).

The contract will see new facilities developed for the King David High School, Primary School and Kindergarten and the Harold House Jewish Community & Youth centre as part of a single integrated building on the current high school site.

Situated on the largest Jewish campus in Europe, the new campus facility will include flexible learning environments equipped with wireless internet access, plus breakout rooms for independent study and group work, a new foyer and reception, sports hall and sports pitches.
