The agreement with Al Futtaim Carillion (AFC), makes Speedy its exclusive provider of light plant and equipment.

Under a separate agreement signed with AFC, Speedy has bought light plant and other assets from AFC for a cash consideration of £4.1m which, together with existing equipment transferred from the UK and investment in new equipment, takes Speedy's overall investment to support AFC's specific requirements to about £8.5m.

Speedy said its international asset services division was now on track to deliver exit run rate turnover as at March 2010 of in excess of £10m, as it forecast in recent interim results.
