Continental Landscapes has been awarded a seven-year contract to provide grounds maintenance services for Borough of Poole.

The contract, for an undisclosed sum, will mean Continental assumes maintenance responsibility for all the towns parks and open spaces until 2015.

The contract will start on January 1, 2008, and includes the maintenance of Poole Park and the delivery of other services including grass cutting, landscape maintenance, allotment management, sports bookings and tree works.

Six companies were invited to tender for the grounds maintenance contract.

Continental Landscapes will also support Borough of Poole’s objective of attaining Green Flag status for its parks and open spaces.
