The London Borough of Bexley has signed a partnering charter with its professional transport and traffic engineering services provider Mouchel. The London Borough of Bexley's contracts and performance team leader Andrew Sims said: "We have been engaged in discussions with Mouchel for some time about how to develop the way we work together. The partnering charter is designed to facilitate team-working and build existing relationships, rather than being a binding contract." Mouchel has supported the council since April 2004 and recently signed a two-year extension, taking the contract through to March 2010. Mouchel plays a key role in providing highway and safety improvement schemes in Bexley borough. This includes road safety, traffic calming, pedestrian and cycling schemes, parking schemes, transport planning, road safety audits and town centre regeneration. |
