| Mears takes three contracts |

The social housing division of Mears has won three new contracts worth a combined £57m. The contracts are from Watford Community Housing Trust, Castle Morpeth Housing and Catalyst Communities Housing Association. It will be one of two partners appointed by WCHT for a 5-year Decent Homes partnership in a deal worth £33m over the period for each partner. Mears also bagged a contract with Castle Morpeth to deliver a major works, improvement and repair programme to the recently transferred housing stock. The initial four-year deal is worth £12m to the company. Lastly, it will provide voids and major cyclical maintenance repairs services to Catalyst, again worth £12m over four years. |
