Monday, 22 June 2009
Mansell has been awarded a £5.7m contract for the design and construction of 36 new homes at Lyme Grove in Hackney, London, under the North River Alliance framework.

The project will see an existing building demolished and an eight-storey tower built in its place.

Of the 36 homes, 27 will be one, two or three-bed flats with a row of nine townhouses, comprising three and four bedroom homes. All have been designed to achieve Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

Demolition will start on site this month with construction expected to begin in mid-July. The project is due to be completed in October 2010.
