The Infant school & Nursery and Junior School are both to be demolished and replaced by a 1,274 square metre and a 1,330 square metre facility respectively.

Works at the Community School will comprise demolition of a block currently housing workshops, art studios and a boiler house, construction of a new 5,100 square metre facility and remodelling of some of the existing buildings. The scheme includes construction of a new access road as well as car parking areas to separate vehicular and pedestrian access.

Lend Lease Projects will also manage the relocation of staff and pupils into temporary accommodation, where necessary, and finally into the new buildings.

They will be joining forces with Capita Symonds which will provide educational advisor, ICT, FF&E and a number of design consultancy services.
