| Costain wins Bell Common Tunnel contract |

Costain has been awarded a £90.4m contract by the Highways Agency to refurbish the Bell Common Tunnel between Junctions 26 and 27 of the M25 near Epping. This contract, in addition to the recent commencement of the £36m A34 Wolvercote Viaduct replacement, helps to bring Costain’s total Highways sector awards to more than £250m in 2008. Work is expected to begin in Autumn 2008 with completion scheduled by December the following year. |
