Consultant Scott Wilson has posted strong result for the full year to March. The company saw revenues rise 24.2% to £324.2m, with operating profit up from £14.7m to £19.1m. Its order book now stands at 3280m. Geoff French, Chairman of Scott Wilson, said: “These are another set of excellent results that demonstrate once again the strength of Scott Wilson’s underlying business and the ongoing demand for our services around the world. We continue to execute a successful growth strategy which in the last twelve months has led to a significant improvement in our international business, delivered several more acquisitions and improved our internal infrastructure by reducing the size of our senior executive team. "Despite concerns for the global economy, the demand for improved infrastructure around the globe is being driven by population growth and increased urbanisation. The new financial year has started well and we remain confident in our ability to deliver another year of strong progress and superior returns for our shareholders.“ |
