Miller Construction (UK) has announced the appointment of Vic Richardson as regional director for Scotland. Miller Construction, (UK) is part of The Miller Group which is the UK's largest privately owned, Housebuilding, Property Development and Construction business. Richards’ joins Miller Construction following three years oversees in the Caribbean and the Middle East where he managed many major projects including the Guest Palace of Muscat. He brings with him a wealth of industry experience, having worked for some of the largest contractors in the UK and won numerous accolades for his work. His impressive portfolio, which spans a range of sectors, includes Braehead Shopping Centre, Glasgow; The Gyle Shopping Centre and the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh; as well as Hexham Hospital PFI for which he scooped the prestigious "Building Manager of the Year" award. Vic Richardson, regional director, Miller Construction (UK) said: "The current demand in Scotland for quality construction builds has been growing at a consistent rate over the last few years and there was no better time to return to home than in the midst of the construction boom. "Miller Construction's Scottish Region is continually evolving and securing fantastic projects.
