| Kier head of housing resigns |

Kier group's executive director in charge of housing has resigned from the company. Michael O'Farrell is stepping down from the board and his executive role with immediate effect. O'Farrell joined Kier in 2003 as managing director of Allison Homes before being appointed managing director of Kier Residential in 2005, and then being promoted to the executive board in 2006.
