CABE appoints three new commissioners E-mail

The Commission for Architecture and the Built environment (CABE) has appointed three new commissioners to its team to advise the government on its plans for the UK’s public spaces. 

The Minister of State for Culture, Creative Industries and Tourism, Margaret Hodge MP appointed the trio to join the 16-strong team of leading industry advisors.


Piers Gough and Hanif Kara's appointments will run for four years and will begin with immediate effect. Nick Johnson will take up his position from 15 December.

“CABE is delighted to be welcoming such eminent new commissioners. Nick Johnson, Piers Gough and Hanif Kara bring with them a wide range of experience, and impressive records in their respective fields. We are extremely grateful for the dedicated and creative contributions made by Dickon Robinson, Louisa Hutton and Brian Boylan who are stepping down.”
