Amec has announced the resignation of Stuart Siddall its finance director.

Siddall will step down from the board following the company's annual general meeting on 14 May 2008 and will leave at the end of May 2008.

The process to appoint his successor will commence immediately.

Samir Brikho, CEO, said:"I would like to thank Stuart for his contribution to Amec and the support and advice he has given to me personally. I wish him every success for the future."
