Builder & Engineer Awards 2007 E-mail

The fourth annual Builder &  Engineer Awards were held on Wednesday October 10th at The Palace Hotel, Manchester.

We were delighted that the guest speaker on the evening was  Dr Peter Bonfield, chief executive of the BRE.  His fifteen year career in construction has focused on driving innovation and improved sustainability across all construction sectors. He has led major initiatives in the areas of new build and existing housing, as well as in commercial and public sector buildings. Dr Bonfield has also helped to create for the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) the sustainable development strategy for the Olympics and has the role of leader for construction products to be used in the build programme for the games.
